Mindfulness is a lifestyle that involves the intentional practice of remaining fully present in the moment, thereby avoiding distractions from the stream of thoughts and narratives that occupy our minds. As a sports analogy, meditation can be likened to practice, while Mindfulness can be seen as the ultimate goal. Through meditation, we cultivate Mindfulness as a means of fully engaging in life’s experiences.
Dr. Jess Place is a certified meditation teacher (CMT) who has been leading group and private meditation sessions since 2017. With a foundation in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), she offers personalized meditations grounded in Mindfulness strategies to help individuals create a healthier relationship with themselves and their thoughts.
Over the years, Jess has taught various groups of people Mindfulness & meditation strategies, catering lessons to their specific life sitatutions. Some of the groups are:
